Bright iced drink combining green tea, peach syrup and zesty lemonade—perfect summer refreshment.

# What you'll need:

→ Green Tea

01 - 2 green tea bags
02 - 2 cups hot water (about 175°F)

→ Peach Syrup

03 - 1 cup peach nectar or juice
04 - 2 tablespoons simple syrup or agave (or 2 tablespoons honey as non‑vegan alternative)

→ Lemonade

05 - 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
06 - 1/2 cup cold water
07 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

→ To Serve

08 - Ice cubes
09 - Fresh peach slices (optional)
10 - Mint leaves (optional)

# Preparation steps:

01 - Bring water to about 175°F. Pour 2 cups hot water over 2 green tea bags and steep 2–3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
02 - In a pitcher combine 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 cup cold water and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
03 - In a small bowl whisk together 1 cup peach nectar and 2 tablespoons simple syrup or agave until homogeneous. Use honey only if not maintaining a vegan version.
04 - Fill glasses with ice. For each glass combine equal parts cooled green tea, peach syrup and lemonade (approximately one third of each). Stir gently to integrate and taste; adjust sweetness or dilution with additional water or syrup as desired.
05 - Top with fresh peach slices and mint leaves if desired and serve immediately over ice.

# Expert advice:

01 -
  • When you swirl these flavors together, it’s like sunshine in a glass—sweet, tangy, and uplifting in every sip.
  • Making your own means you get to play with the balance of fruit, tea, and lemon, turning it into your summer signature.
02 -
  • If you rush the tea and pour it hot, your ice will vanish and dilute everything—let it cool fully first.
  • I learned to mix the lemonade and peach syrup separately so every flavor pops—it’s tempting to shortcut, but patience transforms the taste.
03 -
  • Cooled green tea (kept in the fridge) makes last-minute assembly much easier—plan ahead if you can.
  • A splash of extra peach nectar right before serving makes every glass taste like you picked the fruit yourself.
